Scottish BE90 and BE100 Championship – qualification for the BE90 & BE100 Scottish Championship will be taken from the Scottish Grassroots Leagues. The best 3 runs as a combination will count. The top 40 combinations* will qualify for the Championships. All BE90 (incl. BE90u18) and BE100 (incl. BE100u18) classes between 20 July 2022 and 1st August 2023 are qualifying classes. All eligible horses must be Grade 4 at the Ballot Date of the event at which they qualify for the Scottish Championship. BE100 horses may have won a maximum of seven grading points between the Ballot Date of the event at which they qualify and the date of the Championship. Down graded horses are not permitted to partake in these Championships. Horse must be ridden by the same Rider throughout the qualifying process and the Championship. Riders must not have competed at Intermediate or higher level competition during the current or preceding ten calendar seasons.
* The qualification criteria can be adjusted by BE’s Chief Executive to achieve the number of entries required.
The BE90 and BE100 classes will have normal BE entry requirements. Please refer to the 2023 BE Rule Book.
The National BE90 & 100 will run on Thursday 24th August 2023 which you do not have to qualify for. We will hold the BE 90 & 100 Scottish Championships Saturday 26th August 2023 and Sunday 27th August 2023.
