Albert Bartlett is a progressive family brand, established in 1948 and dedicated to providing tasty, wholesome food for proper meals, developing its range to fit with today’s meal providers.
The company is family-owned and is fiercely committed to providing a branded range of the best potatoes grown in the most responsible way. Albert Bartlett potatoes are grown across the UK from the far north of Scotland through the country to Cornwall and across to Northern Ireland and the Island of Jersey. Its head office is in Airdrie in central Scotland with further UK sites at Boston in Lincolnshire, Worstead in Norfolk and on the island of Jersey.
In addition to its fresh potatoes, Albert Bartlett has a range of frozen products, which includes Homestyle Chips, Chunky Chips, Fries and Wedges, all made with British grown red-skinned Rooster potatoes. In 2018 the company opened a new chilled plant at Airdrie. The manufacturing facility is now producing Albert Bartlett branded products, including chilled chips and Parmentier Potatoes, as well as retailer own label products.
Albert Bartlett has invested substantially in its infrastructure and in creating a brand, which has become a household name; ensuring growth and job creation in a shrinking food category and consolidating production sector.
