There will be few people unaware of the work of Macmillan Cancer Support. Pledging to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as possible, the charity provides confidential emotional, practical, physical and financial support. It also supports healthcare professionals while fundraising and campaigning at both local and national level.
Over three million people in the UK live with cancer, and that number is set to grow. Cancer diagnoses are rising and more people are surviving than ever before. As a result, the nature of cancer care needs to adapt and evolve to meet the rapidly changing requirements of people living with the disease. Macmillan Cancer Support provides a lifeline to those affected, at every stage of their experience.
