When does the Box Office open for advance sales?
The box office for this year’s event is now open. It will close on Sunday 5th August for Membership and Camping. It will close on Sunday 19th August for General Admission. General Admission and Parking tickets will be available at the gate during the event.

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
No, general admission tickets and parking passes are available on the gate. However, you will make a saving if you purchase them in advance.

What about Membership or Camping – can I buy that on the gate?
No – Memberships and Camping are only available in advance.

Do I need to buy a ticket for my child?
Accompanied children 12 years and under are admitted free of charge. Provided they are accompanied by a paying adult Member, children 12 years and under are also admitted to the Members Enclosure without additional charge.

I can’t come any more; can I get a refund?                                                                                                                               No, unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds on tickets in the final run up to the event.


What are the benefits of Membership over an ordinary admission ticket?
Membership also gives access to the Forward Car Park and the ringside Members’ Marquee, which has full bar, café and restaurant facilities, CCTV, a ringside garden and ‘posh’ loos.

I am purchasing Membership of the event – does my Child need Membership to join me in the Members Enclosure?
No – children under 12yo can enter the Members Enclosure when accompanied by an adult with Membership.

Grandstand Seating

Is grandstand seating included with my ticket?
Yes – A small grandstand is located at the Main Arena, Tummel Arena and Country Fair Arena. It is free of charge to use, on a first come, first served basis.


What camping packages are available?
Season camping packages are available which allow entry for all four days of the competition, plus the veterinary inspection on Wednesday. Weekend camping packages allow you to enter the event on Saturday and Sunday. Every camping package comes with either general admission or membership for two people.

When can I arrive?
Season camping packages allow you to arrive from Wednesday 22nd August and stay until Monday 27th. If you have booked weekend camping, you can arrive on Friday evening and stay until Monday.

I have more than two people staying in my caravan, do I need to book extra camping packages?
No – As long as you are all staying in caravan/horsebox/motorhome/tent, your extra visitors just need to purchase membership or general admission tickets to get into the event each day.

Disabled Facilities

Does the event have disabled facilities?
Yes – Please go to Gate 2 where your disabled blue vehicle badge should be shown to the car-parking attendants, who will then direct you to the forward parking area. Admission tickets or membership are still required. Disabled toilets are available adjacent to the Country Fair arena, and at the Member’s Enclosure and public catering marquee.

Can I hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair?
We have recently become aware that our usual mobility scooter supplier, Mobility Hire 4U, have gone into administration. Anyone who has booked a scooter with them should contact the administrators, SFP Group. Tel: 020 7538 2222 Email: enquiries@sfpgroup.com

We are delighted that Event Mobility have stepped in to provide electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors at the show.

To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book on line at www.eventmobility.org.uk, print out an advance booking form from the website or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you.  The charity asks £25 for an electric scooter and £10 for a manual wheelchair.

Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.


Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome at the event but must be kept on a secure lead at all times. Water points are located at various points around the site. Poop scoop bags are available from the Information area by the Main Arena, and we ask that owners clear up after their dogs. Dogs must not be left in cars.


Is there coach parking?
Yes, coaches are welcome at the event but must be booked in advance. Please contact the organisers office on 01796 481 543 to request your coach pass. Coaches which are not booked in will be able to drop off passengers, but may not be able to park on site. Coach parking is free of charge.

Opening Times

When do the gates open?
Gates open to the public at 8.30am daily, except on Saturday when they open at 7.30am.

What about closing times?
There is no specific closing time – it really depends when all the different competitions finish, but these begin to wrap up from around 5pm. The shopping village exhibitors will stay open as long as shoppers are around!
