The Blair Castle Cross Country Challenge and Fun Run has quickly become an established element of the event.

Taking place on the Sunday, the Challenge takes place on the cross-country course and allows competitors of the two-legged variety to tackle the course - minus the jumps, of course!

Runners can choose between a 6km cross country race, a 3.5km cross country race and a 2km fun run, and can run as a team or an individual. Perpetual trophies are presented for the two races, while all finishers receive a souvenir medal.

Competitors are encouraged to raise sponsorship for a charity of their choice - anyone unsure of which charity to support may wish to consider running for the event's Official Charity for 2008 – the British Horse Society Scotland.
