Bruadar continues to support local sport with Blair Castle Horse Trials backing

Blair Castle International Horse Trials will again benefit through sponsorship from the Scottish Liqueur Centre as Bruadar, The Malt Whisky & Sloe liqueur is announced as this year’s sponsor for the fast growing Country Fair.

Hard on the heels of backing for the Scottish Curling Championship at Perth Ice Rink, the Blair Castle Country Fair support is further demonstration of the Scottish Liqueur Centre’s support for local & national sport, intended to firmly establish the Bankfoot produced liqueur as a favourite in its homeland.

The event at Blair Castle takes place from August 23rd to 26th, 2007 and will feature a free tasting tent where all visitors will be given the opportunity to try the brand as part of the Bruadar Country Fair. Last year the event attracted over 36,000 people over the four days and the Country Fair arena over the weekend was especially popular.

Running alongside the Blair Castle International Horse Trials which this year also features the European Young Rider Eventing Championships, the Bruadar Country Fair will feature its usual range of outdoor sports such as off-road driving, falconry and gun dog training. A new addition this August will be the spectacular Jumpin’ Jake’s Farmer Ted Show, one of the UK’s leading quad bike stunt riders.

The popular Food Hall will offer a huge range of Scottish and locally produced fair, while the tented village packed with over 250 shops selling everything from clothing and jewellery to fine art and furniture makes the event a shoppers dream.

Welcoming the news of the Scottish Liqueur Centre’s continued support, Sarah Phillips, Director of the horse trials said, “We are delighted that once again a prestigious local Perthshire company has stepped in to support the event. Bruadar and the Country Fair are such a great fit.”

Jamie Morrison the UK Sales Director for Bruadar is equally enthusiastic.
“Our whole sale pitch for Bruadar is as Scotland and Perthshire’s alternative to Sloe Gin. This will give us the opportunity to let a huge number of people taste the brand and be a great finale for our UK summer tasting programme where we hope to introduce Bruadar to over 500,000 people.

The Scottish Liqueur Centre Ltd is an independent Scottish company producing liqueurs in Bankfoot, Perthshire.
