MEMBERSHIP ENCHANCEMENTS FOR 2005!

Several improvements and new features have been put in place to ensure the Membership experience at Blair is better in 2005 than ever before.

A new caterer has been appointed for 2005, which will service the Members’ Murray Enclosure and the public catering outlets, as well as providing all the catering for our sponsors and hospitality guests. Sodexho Prestige are market leaders in the field of hospitality, and already cater for many large sporting events, including the International Rugby at Murrayfield.

Modifications have been made to the layout of the Member’s and Sponsor’s marquees, so that in 2005 ‘ringside’ really will mean ‘ringside’. The public walkway has been rerouted, to ensure spectators in the Member’s Garden area have clear views of the Main Arena.

A cloakroom and parcel drop area will be situated within the Murray Enclosure for the first time, enabling Member’s to shop to their hearts’ content without having to lug heavy parcels around all day! Similarly, waterproofs can be abandoned safely when the sun shines! The cloakroom and parcel drop facility will be manned by volunteers from our nominated charity, the Children’s Hospice Association of Scotland (CHAS), who will simply ask for a donation to be made when you leave your belongings.

For the first time, and in response to popular demand, disabled toilets will be located at the Murray Enclosure. It is appreciated that many of our Members are older and perhaps less comfortable walking long distances, so this development should help facilitate an enjoyable day out.

Suggestions are always well received and thoughtfully considered, and the team at Blair hope that the above improvements will really serve to enhance the Membership experience at Blair 2005.
