The home of the Horse Trials, Blair Castle is
the seat of the Dukes of Atholl, and dates back to 1269. The Castle
is Scotland’s most visited private home, and displays exceptional
collections of arms, china, lace, furniture and artwork. The grounds
include stunning gardens, parkland and woodland, and there are waymarked
trails to follow around the rest of the Atholl Estate land.

Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder

Created in the 1950’s when the Tummel was
dammed in order to create hydro-electric power. The fish ladder
was created specially to bypass the dam, allowing fish to climb
and enter Loch Faskally. Visitors can enter a viewing chamber, where
they can watch the salmon through a glass wall.

The famous theatre, on the banks of the River
Tummel, runs a full season of plays, alongside a programme of concerts
and exhibitions. The theatre also has a restaurant, and provides
full disabled access and facilities.
Achingarroch Wildlife Centre

handling areas.
