WALK THE COURSE WITH THE STARS!

British Olympic Team riders William Fox-Pitt and Lucy Wiegersma, alongside reserve Ruth Edge and New Zealand short-listed rider Caroline Powell, have each generously agreed to support BHS Scotland by leading a course walk.

Walks will take place twice daily on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd August, and are open to BHS Members and Blair Members. THRILLING LINE-UP OF DISPLAYS AT BLAIR CASTLE INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS AND COUNTRY FAIR

The annual Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair takes place at Blair Atholl from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th August 2008 and includes an exciting variety of displays and demonstrations to keep both equestrian and non-equestrian visitors entertained.

Lothian and Borders Police Mounted Division will be present on all four days and not only will they be displaying their considerable skills each day, there will be opportunities to meet the horses and speak to the police officers at the event....

BLAIR CASTLE HORSE TRIALS TO SUPPORT BHS SCOTLAND IN 2008

BHS Scotland has been chosen as the nominated charity for the prestigious Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair in 2008.

The event takes place from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th August this year at scenic Blair Atholl in Highland Perthshire and is expected to attract crowds well in excess of 40,000.

Previous charities to have benefited from the horse trials include Riding for the Disabled and the Equine Grass Sickness Fund, with thousands of pounds raised each year through collections, displays and auctions.

EX RACERS CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW TO BE HELD AT BLAIR CASTLE INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS

Many horses which have raced under rules go on to lead fulfilling lives in other spheres of competition and this year some will be lucky enough to show their paces during Blair Castle International Horse Trials, Scotland’s leading equestrian event.

For the first time Blair Castle will host the Scottish Ex Racers Championship Show on Sunday 24th August for racehorses that have been retrained as riding horses and registered with the Ex Racers Club.
